ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 28 ಹಾಗೂ 29 ರಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಗಂಜಿಮಠದಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಡ್ಡೂರು ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 400 ನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಐಎಂಎಸ್ ಸಿ ಆಫ್ ರೋಡ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ 2026 ಅನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿವಿಧ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 200 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಅವರು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಪಯಣವನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಐಎಂಎಸ್ಸಿ ತನ್ನ 400 ನೇ ಆಫ್ರೋಡ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನೆರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 5 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಸ್ತಕರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದರು.
25 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐಎಂಎಸ್ಸಿ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ , ಆಟೋ ಕ್ರಾಸ್, ಮೋಟೊ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಹೀಂದ್ರಾ ಅಡ್ವಂಚರ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಆಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿ 250 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿಭಾಗ, ಜೂನಿಯರ್, ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್, ಜಿಮ್ಮಿ, ಥಾರ್ 2020, ಎಸ್ಯುವಿ, ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್, ಡೀಸೆಲ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 11 ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ 15 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳ ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 28 ರಂದು ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 29 ರಂದು ಮಾಡಿಫೈಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಓಪನ್ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ ಎಂದರು.

Mangaluru: The 400th national-level competition IMSC Off-Road Trophy 2026 is being organized by Indian Motor Sports at Oddur Farm in Ganjimath here on March 28 and 29. More than 200 competitors from different states will participate, said Ashwin Nayak, secretary of the Indian Motor Sports Club, Mangaluru, at a press conference on Monday.
Indian Motor Sports has been on a long journey of 25 years in this field, and IMSC will be organizing its 400th Off-Road Trophy, and all necessary arrangements will be made for this. Competitors from neighboring states including Karnataka will participate. More than 5,000 sportsmen are likely to participate, he said.
In the past 25 years, IMSC has been systematically organizing various competitions including rally, auto cross, and motocross across the country. Mahindra Adventure has conducted more than 250 successful events as the official organizer of the organization.
The two-day national competition will be held in 11 categories including women’s category, junior, masters, Jimmy, Thar 2020, SUV, stock petrol, diesel. The winners will be given a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh and an attractive trophy. He said that the preliminary competitions of various categories will be held on March 28 and the final competitions of the Modified and Open class categories will be held on March 29.
