ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಒಡಿಸಾದಿಂದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಸಾಗಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕೇರಳದ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧನ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಂದ 120 ಕೆ.ಜಿ ಗಾಂಜಾ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇರಳದ ವೈಯನಾಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅನೂಪ್ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ (28), ಕಣ್ಣೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಲತೀಫ್ ಕೆ.ವಿ (36), ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಾಂಜಾ ಸಾಗಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಕುರಿತು ಖಚಿತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ಯಾಮ್‌ಸುಂದರ್ ಎಚ್‌. ಎಂ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಲಪಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಪಿಲಿಕೂರು ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
28 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 120 ಕೆಜಿ ಗಾಂಜಾ, 3 ಮೊಬೈಲ್, 4,020 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಗದು ಹಾಗೂ ಜೀಪ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೌಲ್ಯ 35.14 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಡಿಸಾದಿಂದ ಅಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲಕ ಗಾಂಜಾವನ್ನು ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಂಜಾವನ್ನು ಕಳ್ಳ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಬೋಲೆರೊ ವಾಹನದ ಹಿಂಬದಿ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬಾಕ್ಸ್ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಮಾರಾಟ ಜಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ. ಸೆನ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತನಿಖೆಗಾಗಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಅನುಪಮ್ ಅಗ್ರವಾಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಅನೂಪ್ ಎಂಬುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ 2018ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ನಂಜನಗೂಡು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದರೋಡೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇರಳದ ವೈಯನಾಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೆಪ್ಪಳ್ಳಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತು ಸಾಗಾಟ ಪ್ರಕರಣ, ವೈಯನಾಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2 ದರೋಡೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ, 1 ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ, ವೈಯನಾಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಂಬಲವಯಲ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಕಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು ತಿಳಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಘಟಕದ ಪಿಎಸ್ ಐ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿ, ನರೇಂದ್ರ, ಸುದೀಪ್, ಶರಣಪ್ಪ ಭಂಡಾರಿ, ಎಎಸ್ಸೈಗಳಾದ ಮೋಹನ್ ಕೆ.ವಿ, ಶೀನಪ್ಪ ಇದ್ದರು.
The Mangalore CCB police have succeeded in arresting two persons from Kerala who were transporting cannabis in huge quantities from Odisha to Mangalore and Kerala. 120 kg ganja was seized from the accused.
The arrested accused have been identified as Anoop MS (28) of Wayanad district of Kerala and Latif KV (36) of Kannur district. Mangalore CCB Inspector Shyamsunder H. The CCB police led by M conducted an operation at Pilikuru in Talapadi village.
28 lakhs Rs. 120 kg of ganja, 3 mobile phones, 4,020 rupees in cash and a jeep with a total value of 35.14 lakhs were seized. He used to transport ganja by car from Odisha to Andhra Pradesh and Bangalore. In order to smuggle ganja, the accused placed a separate iron box in the rear bumper of the Bolero vehicle. Many more people are involved in this ganja selling network and the search for the accused is going on. Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that a case has been registered at the Sen Crime Police Station and the accused have been produced in the court and taken into police custody for further investigation.
In 2018, a case of robbery was registered against one of the accused, Anup, in Nanjangudu rural police station of Mysore district. He informed that a case of drug trafficking has been registered in the Meppalli police station of Wayanad district, 2 robbery cases, 1 assault case in Kaltatta police station of Wayanad district, 2 theft cases in Ambalavyal police station of Wayanad district.
