ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಕಂಬಳವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಯುವಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯೋನ್ಮುಖರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಂಬಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆರುಗು ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಸಾರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕ್ಯಾ. ಬೃಜೇಶ್ ಚೌಟ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪತ್ತುಮುಡಿ ಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಕಂಬಳ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
7 ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಡಿ. 30 ರಂದು ಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಫಿಂಚ್ ಸಿಟಿಯ ರಾಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಜೋಡು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಇದರ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಗೌರವ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರದ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮುಚ್ಚೂರು ಕಲ್ಕುಡ ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಕಂಬಳ ಜನಾಕರ್ಷಣೀಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕಂಬಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಮೆರೆಗು ನೀಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ವ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮನ್ಮತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಪಿ.ಆರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ವಿಜಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಂಗಿನಮನೆ, ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಅನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸುಜಿತ್ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಮಂಗಲ್ಪಾಡಿ, ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೀತಮ್ ರೈ ಇದ್ದರು.
