ಕುಮಟಾ: ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಸಾವಿಗೀಡಾಗಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಕುಮಟಾದ ಬಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಮೃತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮೂಲದ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಗುಪ್ತಾ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೃತ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಅವರು 11 ಮಂದಿ ಜತೆಗೆ ಕುಮಟಾಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು, ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಈಜಲು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕುಮಟಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
