ವಿಜಯನಗರ: ಟಿಪ್ಪರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೂಸರ್ ನಡುವೆ ಭೀಕರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದ್ದು, 5 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯದ ಟನಲ್ ಬಳಿ ಟಿಪ್ಪರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರಿನ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಟಿಪ್ಪರ್ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ರಭಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರೂಸರ್ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಜಖಂಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರ ತೆಗೆಯಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಹರಸಾಹಸ ಪಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಕ್ರೂಸರ್ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಛಿದ್ರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಟಿಪ್ಪರ್ ಮುಂಭಾಗವು ಸಹ ಜಖಂಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹರಪನಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕೂಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗೋಣಿಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬರುವಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರ ಆಕ್ರಂದನ ಮುಗಿಲು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
