ಕಾರವಾರ: ಕೆಲ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 66 ರ ಲಂಡನ್ ಬ್ರಿಜ್ ಬಳಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸುರಂಗ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಂಗೂಬಾಯಿ ಮಾನಕರ್‌ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರವಾರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 66 ರ ಕಾರವಾರದಿಂದ ಬಿಣಗಾಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಣಗಾದಿಂದ ಕಾರವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಎರಡು ಟನಲ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 7 ರಂದು ವಾಹನ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನರ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ಭಂದಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅ. 2 ರಂದು ಮೂರನೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ವರದಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೇ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯನ್ನು ಯೋಜನಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಮರು ನಿಗದಿ ಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಟನಲ್‌ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ ನಿರ್ಭಂದವನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್‌ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅ.8 ರಂದು ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸದೇ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟನಲ್‌ 1 ಮತ್ತು 2 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನಾಹುತಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಯೋಜನಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರೇ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೊಣೆ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅ. 8 ರಂದು ಜಂಟಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಯೋಜನಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರದ್ದೇ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪತ್ರ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಟನಲ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಗಣಪತಿ ಉಳ್ವೇಕರ್‌ ಸೆ. 29 ರಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ತೊಂದರೆಯನ್ನು ಸೋಮವಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅದರಂರೆ ಈಗ ಬಿಣಗಾದಿಂದ ಕಾರವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಟನಲ್‌ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
The District Collector Gangubai Manakar has issued an order on Monday for the tunnel traffic constructed near London Bridge of National Highway 66 by imposing certain conditions.
National Highway 66 passing through Karwar, two tunnels connecting Karwar to Binaga and Binaga to Karwar were closed for vehicular and people traffic on July 7. A. On 2nd, the inspection report of the third company was instructed. The Project Director has requested to reschedule the inspection as he is unable to attend due to some workload. The District Collector has said in the copy of the order that the restriction imposed on tunnel traffic has been withdrawn so that people do not suffer.
If the officials do not come for the inspection on August 8, the notification will be withdrawn in the interest of the public. Project Director of National Highways Authority will be solely responsible for any mishaps occurring in Tunnels 1 and 2 during this period. A. The project director will be responsible for joint inspection on 8th. It is said that no correspondence will be conducted by the office in this regard.
Locals and Vidana Parishad member Ganapati Ulvekar S. against the district administration to open the tunnel for traffic. He had protested on 29th. The District Collector had promised the protestors that the problem facing the people would be rectified by Monday. Now tunnel traffic from Binaga to Karwar has been made possible.
