ಉಡುಪಿ: ಗ್ರಾಹಕರೊಬ್ಬರ ಡೆಬಿಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ವಂಚಿಸಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಸೆನ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕರೀಂ ಎಂಬುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತಾನು ಎಸ್ಬಿಐ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡಅನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು, ಬಳಿಕ ಡೆಬಿಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಓಟಿಪಿ ಪಡೆದು ಖಾತೆಯಿಂದ ಒಟ್ಟು 4.99 ಲಕ್ಷ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Abdul Karim complained that an unknown person called him on his mobile phone and told him that he would activate the SBI credit card, after which he got the debit card information and OTP and transferred a total of 4.99 lakhs from the account online and cheated him.
