ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರವು ಕಾವೇರಿ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಲವು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ತೀವ್ರಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜಲ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸೆ.26 ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಬಂದ್‌ಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು 90 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಬೆಂಬಲ ಘೋಷಿಸಿವೆ. ರಾಮನಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ್ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿವೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 6 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 6 ರವರಿಗೆ ಬಂದ್ ಗೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪುರಭವನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ರ್‍ಯಾಲಿ ಶುರು ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಬಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಗಿಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಆರ್‌ಟಿಸಿ ಸ್ಟಾಫ್‌ ಅಂಡ್‌ ವರ್ಕರ್ಸ್‌ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್‌ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಬಸ್ ಸಂಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಯವಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಿದೆ. ಆಟೊ, ಕ್ಯಾಬ್‌ ಸಂಚಾರ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಟೆಲಿವಿಷನ್ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಂಘ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಬಂದ್ ಮಾಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದೆ.
ಬಂದ್ ನಡೆವ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿ ರಜೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಆಯಾ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತೆ ಬಿ.ಬಿ.ಕಾವೇರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಏನಿರಲ್ಲ: ಊಬರ್–ಓಲಾ ಕ್ಯಾಬ್‌, ಆಟೊರಿಕ್ಷಾ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಏನಿರಲಿದೆ: ಮೆಟ್ರೊ, ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಬಸ್, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಹಾಲು–ತರಕಾರಿ, ದಿನ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯ ಇರಲಿವೆ.
The struggle is likely to intensify in many districts of the state against the state government’s release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.
The Karnataka Water Conservation Committee has called for a Bandh in Bengaluru on September 26 and more than 90 organizations have declared their support. Local organizations have decided to hold a bandh in various taluks of Ramnagar and Mandya districts.
A bandh is likely to be held in Bangalore from 6 am to 6 pm. The protest rally will start from Bangalore City Hall at 11 am. The KSRTC Staff and Workers Federation has called not to ply the BMTC bus as there is a possibility of disruption in bus traffic. There will be no auto, cab traffic. Karnataka Television Artists Association has decided to stop the shooting.
