ಕಾರವಾರ: ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಆಶಾ ನಿಕೇತನ ಕಿವುಡ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಂಗೂಬಾಯಿ ಮಾನ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಶನಿವಾರ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕ್ರೀಯಾಶೀಲ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಬಳಿಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಹಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಿ ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಆಲಿಸಿದರು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎದುರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಊಟವನ್ನು ಬಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರದಾರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜತೆ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಂಗೂಬಾಯಿ ಅವರು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಳಿತು ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು.
Uttara Kannada District Collector Gangubai Mankar visited Karwara Asha Niketana School for Deaf and Dumb Children on Saturday and discussed the facilities there including health of children.
He checked the active activities of the students in the school, then interacted with the children with the help of special teachers and listened to their problems. Meanwhile, the students performed a cultural program and presented their talent in front of the Collector.
